All Are Welcome: Service of Spiritual Renewal for Passover.
At The Atriums, we’re proud to host a service of spiritual renewal for Passover. Please join us to share in traditional and contemporary prayers, songs and readings.
Passover 2020 Service
Thursday, March 19; 6:30 P.M.
At the Atriums
Light nosh preceding the service, sweets served afterwards.
All are welcome. RSVP by calling 913-327-8250 or email chaplaincy@jfskc.org.
Anchored in tradition and community, the service offers each of us hope for whatever transitions or uncertainty may lie ahead in our lives.
This expressive, supportive gathering in preparation for Passover reminds us of the Exodus and being led out of the confines of Egypt and towards a future filled with hope. Passover represents a celebration of spring, birth and rebirth. The Torah states to observe Passover for seven days, beginning on the 15th of the Jewish month Nisan (usually April).
Conducting the Passover service will be Rabbi Monica Kleinman, Director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Beth Torah; Rabbi Jonathan Rudnick, JFS Community Chaplain; and Lezlie Zucker, Music Coordinator at Congregation Beth Torah.
At The Atriums, we support our residents’ spirituality by respecting all religious beliefs and ministering to spiritual needs. Please join us Thursday, March 19.
