The Atriums Assisted Living Resident Spotlight: Charlie Saladino
A lifelong resident of Northeast Kansas City, Charlie Saladino and his wife Madeline have lived at The Atriums for six months in the assisted living wing. When they started their search for senior living communities, The Atriums was at the top of their list because they are friends with one of the founders, Lucille Tutera. Lucille and her late husband, Dominic F. Tutera, M.D., founded Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in 1983. She’s been with The Atriums from the very beginning. She is the administrator at the community and personally knows every resident and family member.
Welcoming Amenities Include a Pool, Spa and Ice Cream!
Now that Charlie is here, his favorite part of our lifestyle is the food. He loves the ice cream counter where he can stop by and pick out his favorite flavor. He is also fond of the chef’s entrées, especially the chicken fingers. The Atriums serves meals restaurant-style in our beautiful dining room. For family or more intimate events, you can book our private dining area. Cheesecake is Charlie’s favorite way of topping off his meals. Our chef is known for creating delectable desserts.
Retiring 25 years ago, Charlie was an accountant and worked for Pasley Manufacturing. Before he moved here, he enjoyed sitting in the gazebo on his deck with his wife Madeline. Now, he’s enjoying the bright, spacious interiors of our assisted living community where he likes to put together puzzles.
A kind person, his friends describe him as peaceful, friendly and generous.
Great days await you too at The Atriums. Call for all the details.
