Christie Brookes

Christie joined the Tutera family in 2007 as the executive director of Rose Estates. Since 2016, she has shared her talents as interim administrator and trainer at multiple Tutera Senior Living and Health Care communities. She is both a licensed nursing home administrator and a certified dementia practitioner and trainer. Because of the respect and reputation Christy has earned in the senior living industry, she was asked to coauthor the Kansas Department of Aging’s Administrator-in-Training program that is still in use today. A life-long learner, Christie is a Masters’ candidate in Social Gerontology at Central Missouri State. Previously, she attended the University of Missouri receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Special and Elementary Education. During her free time, she puts her degree to use as she works with young adults with learning disabilities. As busy as she is, family is still an important priority, so Christie, her husband, and son find time to enjoy nature and their beautiful lake home.
