What’s Happened at The Atriums
At The Atriums Senior Living Community, we understand the importance of adding fun and excitement to daily life. Shaking up the normal routine with opportunities to engage with family and friends, time to learn new things or try out a new hobby are wonderful ways to keep our minds sharp and our spirits high. Each month, the team at The Atriums works to provide extra-special engagement opportunities for our residents, and March was no exception!
The month of March brought a lot of fun for the team and residents at The Atriums. The monthly jewelry-making session yielded some beautiful new bangles and a lot of laughs! The residents love this time to get creative, make some special new pieces and spend time with friends. The next day, residents had the opportunity to attend an in-house art show! The Izzy Miller Art Show: Figures and More was put on by a resident’s daughter and even included a reception following the show. Residents had the chance to walk around and view the work, ask questions and meet the artist. Finally, The Atriums’ residents welcomed entertainer James Rojas for an afternoon of fun and music on March 16th. The experience was made extra special by celebrating the birthdays of two residents during the show!
Exciting outings, enjoyable activities and entertaining experiences are all a central part of life at The Atriums. Each day, residents have the opportunity to take part in:
- Movies and discussions
- Happy hours
- Scenic outings
- Guest speaker events
- Fitness sessions
- Art classes
- Beauty salon services
- Bridge and bingo
- Religious studies and services
